In pursuance of the agreements reached by the Presidents of Ukraine and the Republic of France during their telephone conversation on January 18, the Ukrainian negotiating team headed by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Zhovkva held another round of negotiations with France on the conclusion of a bilateral agreement on the provision of security commitments to Ukraine.
In the course of the talks, the parties moved on to the direct elaboration of the draft agreement and exchanged positions on the key elements of the document.
The parties agreed on a schedule of further bilateral negotiations in the near future.
