France will provide state guarantees to its businesses for investment in Ukraine. Also, together with Ukraine, it will seek other mechanisms for insuring war risks. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during the Forum on Economic Resilience and Reconstruction of Ukraine, which took place in Paris with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of France Emmanuel Macron.

Denys Shmyhal urged French business to invest in Ukraine, offering great opportunities and advantages for entrepreneurs.

“This is a strong army and there are prospects for the development of the military-industrial complex, a powerful agricultural sector, new opportunities for the ‘green transition’ and diversification of energy sources, the presence of 117 out of 120 types of minerals consumed in Europe, the potential for placing European production near the sales markets, and a new quality of digital and cyberspace. At the same time, European businesses that have not yet left russia must do so in order not to fill the ‘bloody' russian budget,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine said.

The Head of Ukrainian Government expressed confidence that the businesses of France would join both the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and the post-war rapid recovery.

“For two months now russia has been intensively attacking our energy sector with missiles and drones. Consciously, cynically, criminally. In the middle of winter, in order to freeze as many people as possible. Therefore, we must restore the country now. After all, we are talking about the lives and health of millions of people,” Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
