During a time of war, when the Great Mother of Ukraine loses her most precious possession - the lives of her children, the film "Mother of Apostles" became an appeal to every mother of a Ukrainian warrior and to the archetype of mothers in general. «In search of her son-pilot, whose humanitarian plane was shot down over the occupied territories of Ukraine, the mother finds herself in a completely alien and aggressive world, where everything is permeated with hatred and suffering. In this hell, she is not only looking for a son, but, having great love and a merciful character in her heart, she changes everyone she meets on her way. And most importantly, she changes herself, gaining truly sacred power! Her despair and pain are reborn in the eternal motherly spirit of the earth, which brings her sons home alive or dead.» The tragedy of the war is shown through the story of one person - Mother. Before our eyes, a complete picture of the tragedy brought by the war appears. The formerly prosperous land turned into ruins not only of cities and villages, but much worse - into ruins of body and soul. And all this permeates with burning pain and pitiful singing of the immeasurable love of a mother who, in this hell of war, runs to save her son.
