The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has presented a website https://fightforua.org/ for foreign citizens who want to join the International Defense Legion of Ukraine and defend peace and security in the world.

On the platform, foreigners can find the algorithm of how to become part of the Legion of Defense, as well as find the necessary contacts of foreign missions of Ukraine in all countries where foreign volunteer units are formed.

On February 27, 2022, the President of Ukraine appealed to foreign nationals to come to Ukraine, join the International Legion and fight against the invaders side by side with Ukrainians. Volunteers of the Foreign Legion are provided with full support and do not need a visa to come to Ukraine.

According to Regulation on Military Service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine by citizens of their countries and stateless persons approved by Decree of the President of Ukraine #248 of June 10, 2016, foreigners have the right to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine for military service under Contract of a voluntary basis to be included in the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
